Acknowledgment of Risk I understand that volunteering at Good2Go Ranch (“the Ranch”) may involve interacting with animals, using tools or equipment, lifting or carrying materials, and walking on uneven or outdoor terrain. I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks of injury, illness, or property damage. I understand that Ranch staff and procedures are in place to reduce risks; however, risks cannot be completely eliminated, and my own actions may increase or decrease the likelihood of injury. Volunteer Waiver and Release In consideration for being permitted to volunteer at the Ranch, I agree to the following: I release and hold harmless Good2Go Ranch, its owners, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from my volunteer activities, except in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or reckless disregard for safety. I accept full responsibility for my actions and for any harm I may cause to animals, property, other volunteers, staff, or visitors. I agree to follow all Ranch rules, safety guidelines, and staff instructions at all times. Medical Authorization In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Ranch to obtain medical treatment for me. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred. Property and Animal Care I agree to treat all animals humanely and to respect Ranch property, equipment, and facilities. I accept responsibility for any damage I cause.

Volunteer Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement Equine-Assisted Services Program This Volunteer Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Good2Go Ranch (“the Ranch”), a nonprofit organization, and the undersigned volunteer (“Volunteer”). 1. Purpose Good2Go Ranch provides equine-assisted services to veterans, first responders, and their families. Volunteers may observe or become aware of personal, sensitive, or trauma-related information. This Agreement establishes expectations regarding confidentiality, privacy, and mandatory reporting. 2. Confidential Information 2.1 Definition Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to: Personal stories, trauma disclosures, or emotional challenges shared by participants Health information or disability-related information Family situations or service-related experiences Participant identities, attendance, or program involvement Internal Ranch operations, records, or procedures not publicly shared 2.2 Volunteer Obligation The Volunteer agrees to keep all Confidential Information private and not disclose it to any person outside Good2Go Ranch unless authorized or required under Section 7 (Mandatory Reporting). 3. Privacy Expectations The Volunteer agrees to: Respect the privacy and dignity of all participants and families Avoid discussing participants outside Ranch activities, including with friends, family, or on social media Refrain from photographing or recording participants without explicit Ranch authorization Follow staff guidance regarding appropriate communication and privacy practices 4. Trauma-Informed Privacy Practices Good2Go Ranch will make reasonable efforts to ensure sensitive conversations occur in a manner that protects privacy. Volunteers understand they may be present in shared environments and must avoid listening to or repeating private conversations not intended for them. The Ranch may implement a “seen but not heard” policy in which activities are visually observable for safety while maintaining conversational privacy. 5. Use of Program Information & Feedback Volunteers may provide suggestions or feedback to improve programs. By providing feedback: The Volunteer grants Good2Go Ranch permission to use suggestions without restriction Feedback will not be publicly attributed without written consent The Volunteer waives any claim to compensation or ownership related to program improvements 6. Limits of Confidentiality While Good2Go Ranch prioritizes privacy, absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when safety concerns arise. 7. Mandatory Reporting Notice Volunteers must immediately notify Ranch staff if they become aware of situations involving: Intent or plans for self-harm or suicide Threats or plans to harm others Suspected abuse, neglect, or endangerment of minors or vulnerable persons Domestic violence involving a vulnerable individual Imminent danger requiring emergency intervention The Ranch may report such concerns to appropriate authorities, including law enforcement, medical personnel, or protective services, as required by law. 8. Records & Information Access Volunteers may only access participant information necessary for their role and may not copy, retain, or distribute records. 9. Term This Agreement becomes effective upon acknowledgment and remains in effect during and after the Volunteer’s service with Good2Go Ranch. 10. Governing Law This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Venue shall be the state courts seated in Weld County, Colorado.
