First, let's get your basic info. We use Wranglr for helping to schedule our volunteers. Please enter your name, email and mobile number. This info will be used to communicate openings, your schedule and important info from Northland. Make sure you have access to both the email account and the mobile for texts.

Photo & Publicity Release

Do you authorize the use of reproduction by NTRC of any and all photographs and any other audio/visual materials taken of you for promotional printed material, educational activities, exhibitions or for any other use for the benefit of the program?

Additional Info

Why do we need this info? Some volunteering roles and duties might require you to work with larger horses, carry heavier things, etc. We also work with Participants that have many different needs and the below information helps us make more informed decisions for our Participants and Volunteers. Please fill out whatever info you are comfortable sharing with us.

Medical Waiver

In the event emergency medical aid/treatment is required due to illness or injury during the process of receiving services or while being on the property of the agency, I authorize Northland Therapeutic Riding Center to: 1. Secure and retain medical treatment and transportation if needed. 2.Release client records upon request to the authorized individual or agency involved in the emergency medical treatment.

Volunteering

At NTRC our Volunteers are the most important aspect to the program. We can not offer the services we do without dedicated and caring individuals such as yourself. We strive to make your time at the barn fulfilling both for you as well as the participants. Horses are great healers for all involved and we hope you find NTRC to be a safe haven for your mind and make new friends both human and equine.























Important Information and Acceptances

General Liability Release

I acknowledge the risk and potential risk associated with the work involved with therapeutic riding. I hereby, intending to be legally bound, waive and release forever all claims for damages against Northland Therapeutic Riding Center, its Board of Directors, Instructors, Therapist, and/or Employees for any and all injuries and/or losses I may sustain while participating in events and activities at NTRC. Under Missouri law, an equine activity sponsor, an equine professional, a livestock activity sponsor, a livestock owner, a livestock facility, a livestock auction market, or any employee thereof is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine or livestock activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine or livestock activities pursuant to the Revised Statues of Missouri. Section 537.325

Confidentiality

I will adhere to the confidentiality policy of NTRC, which states, in part, that all client information will remain confidential. This also restricts the use of photographs of clients and volunteers without express permission.

Background Check Release

At Northland, we require a Background Check for our Volunteers. There is a $12.00 fee for the background check.
