Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Park Horse Project! Volunteers and their commitments are an essential part of our program so thank you for your interest in partnering with us! First, let's get your basic info. We use Wranglr for helping to schedule our volunteers. Please enter your name, email and mobile number. This info will be used to communicate openings, your schedule and important info from Park Horse Project. Make sure you have access to both the email account and the mobile for texts.

Additional Info

Why do we need this info? Some volunteering roles and duties might require you to work with larger horses, carry heavier things, etc. We also work with Participants that have many different needs and the below information helps us make more informed decisions for our Participants and Volunteers. General Liability Release

Volunteer Waiver In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in River Oaks Ranch or Park Horse Project events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that: 1) Equines have the propensity to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm or death to persons on or around the equine; have unpredictable reactions to such things as sounds, sudden movement and unfamiliar objects, persons or other animals; are susceptible to certain hazards such as surface or subsurface conditions, collisions with other equines or objects; propensities include kicking, biting, stamping, stumbling, rearing, and others; tack equipment can fail resulting in falling or loss of control; and activities have the potential of a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury to the participant or others, such as failing to maintain control over the equine or not acting within the participant’s ability. Equine activities are INHERENTLY DANGEROUS. YOU ASSUME THE RISK FOR INJURY OR DEATH. I, _________________________________________________________________________ KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, 2) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS River Oaks Ranch and Park Horse Project, its officers, directors, officials, agents, employees, volunteers, members, guests, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of real property and personal property used to conduct the events and activities (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
